When i close my mouth after yawning, my tongue doesn't go the roof of the mouth.

  • Hey, i notice that whenever i yawn, and after yawning i close my mouth, my tongue doesn't go to the roof of the mouth by itself, now i could press it up there, but i always heard that you shouldn't press the tongue up, instead you should swallow saliva correctly and the tongue goes up there by itself in a "suction hold" method.

Is it okay if it is those few seconds not in the roof of the mouth? It's just that pressing it up there doesn't feel natural nor good, so i rather wait until i have to swallow again and then it goes up there by itself.
